Let this be a lesson to us not to go camping under a redwood tree when you see fog! We camped up at Mt Madonna on another summery weekend for our wedding anniversary – it is a wood year. So Redwoods and camping were the go. We camped at a spot we had been before and really enjoyed it – this time due to the huge amount of fog that came through in the evening we woke up and were literally in our own rain storm – everything was drenched! Still the day turned out lovely and we hiked around the paths and enjoyed early morning hiking as we had a quick chilly breakfast and looked for a trail to visit.
