Ash looking forward to devouring some tasty Mac and Cheese

Here is a pic of my beautiful present from my folks for Christmas – a Le Cruset stoneware dish. I love it! The christening of the dish was inspired by a wonderful recipe from this site Marja’s Mac and Cheese which is super rich with 3 cheeses, cream and milk. I amended it a little with adding ricotta and wholemeal pasta and breadcrumbs with knobs of butter on the top instead of cream cheese. Yes cream cheese is very American and can be added to everything from savoury to dessert – a tasty treat discovered recently from a couple of friends that involved tiny teddies and Oreos. Anyhow this turned out very tasty indeed – just perfect for a cold night in.
