I cannot believe that December is just around the corner and it will soon be Christmas – after this week the kids have only 3 weeks of school left for the year. There is an anxious feeling in the air and lots of ‘to do’ lists either on my phone or scribbled in notepads on my desk! Anyway I managed to get one thing done today and I still am working through my list slowly but surely – knowing that there are a couple of free days coming up really does help. So many people going away this time of year is great but I am really looking forward to catching up with friends and eating a casual meal over several glasses of wine!

 I really enjoyed seeing this leaf gecko and I love the little pads on their feet – here is one of the little guys featured in the rainforest. I love the rainforest as it is my favourite part of the Cal Academy as it is tropical, you soon realise that where you grew up is where you feel most comfortable. California with it’s warm climate has a positive reaction with me – the cold at the moment not so much but hey I am living in my woolies and staying warm!
