All I can say is that we needed that week away and have enjoyed some time for rest and rejuvenation.

We walked 16km on the beach, up and down 197 stairs to see Hopetoun waterfall, looked up high in the treetops in an alien redwood forest, immersed ourselves in a cool temperate rainforest at Maits Rest, and walked along the clifftop above the sea to view the Cape Otway lighthouse, drove to Marriners lookout to see a never-ending coastline, saw a koala at Marengo nature conservation reserve and dipped out feet into the cold surf at Skenes Creek.

Enjoy the pictures as they are wonderful memories of our time away.

Oh and the teens binge-watched Community on Netflix!
